Dr. Priti Patel, O.D., serves as General Manager of Eyeglass World, Fred Meyer and Military stores. In this role, she is responsible for overall brand growth, which includes store operations and customer experience while ensuring financial performance.

With a wealth of optical experience, Dr. Patel brings a deep understanding of the industry to her position. Her expertise is not only confined to operational management but also extends to clinical strategy development. Before her current role, Dr. Patel served as the Chief Medical Officer at National Vision. During her tenure there, she introduced and implemented technology and innovation in the eyecare space. Including launching AI based retinal imaging and enhancing the overall quality of eyecare supporting the company's long-term success, especially in the rapidly evolving healthcare landscape.

Dr. Patel also serves as President and CEO of FirstSight Vision Services, a wholly owned subsidiary of National Vision, where she navigates the ever-changing legal landscape while ensuring compliance and access to eyecare. She first joined FirstSight in 2010 as Vice President of Professional Relations and Operations. Prior to joining National Vision and FirstSight, Dr. Patel was responsible for leading Walmart’s U.S. professional affairs and business relationships with over 3,000 optometrists.

Dr. Patel received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Chemistry from the University of Alabama and received her Doctor of Optometry degree from Nova Southeastern College of Optometry. Her residency was in Primary Care and Ocular Disease from Salus University. She sits on various healthcare advisory boards.
